Two players, one board
White to move
No moves yet.
How to play
- Two players share one board. Flip turns it round for the other player.
- Click a piece to pick it up — every square it can legally reach lights up — then click one of them. Dragging works too; both go through the same rules.
- Undo takes back the last move; Resign ends the game for the side to move.
- Analyse, after the game, lets you replay the ending differently with the engine scoring each move.
- The strips above and below the board are what each side has captured, with the material edge if there is one.
- Full rules: castling, en passant, promotion, stalemate, threefold repetition, the fifty-move rule and dead positions.
- There is no leaderboard here — a two-player game has no single score.
- Analysis, after the game, scores every legal move one at a time, so the list fills in over a few seconds.
